The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, although a bit substandard with limited amenities. The restaurant and bar were great, but parking was pricey.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and a decent size with a nice en-suite, but the lack of air conditioning and the noisy desk fan were a bit inconvenient. The service was good, and the staff were friendly. The location was excellent for my needs, being close to the stadium. However, the dining options were limited and could be improved.
During my stay, I found the hotel to be in a convenient location within walking distance to main attractions but also a bit challenging to move around due to cleanliness issues. The service was great, catering well to our dietary requirements and accommodating an early check-in for dropping our bags. The dining experience was the worst I have encountered in many visits, although it was convenient to have the meals included in the overnight rate. The location was excellent for accessing the waterfront and sightseeing but not as friendly as expected. However, the facilities were up to par, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
Despite some room issues like a small desk chair and poor soundproofing, the hotel felt warm and had thoughtful vacuuming. It was lacking space for luggage but was conveniently located, though a bit small, near the downtown area.
The hotel is a bit basic in terms of room fit-out but appropriate for the price. However, the room was stuffy and couldn't open the window due to traffic noise and wind. It appeared more run down than the photos on the website, with dust and dirt build-up everywhere. Despite calling reception to fix the TV, it stopped working again after 20 minutes, leaving me without access to TV.
The hotel had all the necessary facilities but felt a bit overpriced compared to other options. The rooms were a bit small, which could have been an issue for larger guests, but were equipped with all essentials.
The hotel enjoys a pleasant outlook to Wellington City and offers proximity to key locations, although some rooms may face the motorway. The room cleanliness could be improved, with noticeable issues like hair in the shower and marks on linen. The location is convenient for accessing government agencies and various attractions, with occasional free parking right outside the hotel. The dining options are satisfying, featuring hot and cold selections, while the rooms could benefit from updates, especially the bathrooms.
